Rough Fields - Wessenden Suite
Wessenden Suite was recorded at Fuse Art Space in January 2014. The three-section work is constructed from environmental recordings taken around Wessenden Head Reservoir in the Pennines during winter and spring 2013, manipulated live using Max/MSP and a series of resonant filters.
The release coincides with Rough Fields' new series of performances, during which the same practice is applied in realtime to environmental recordings from the concert location.
